Day 25: Breisach to Mannheim Sun Jul 31, 2016

We travelled overnight from Breisach to Mannheim, arriving around mid-morning. After an early lunch, we headed out for a tour of Speyer. Speyer is a town in Germany located beside the river Rhine. Founded by the Romans, it is one of Germany's oldest cities. We chose to explore Speyer with a local guide. Later, we were greeted by friendly resident of Speyer and learn about their culture as we were welcomed into her home for afternoon tea.
