Day 23: Lyon to Basel Fri Jul 29, 2016

The first day of our second cruise is a coach tour through Switzerland. We disembarked the Amacello in Lyon and journeyed via Switzerland’s beautiful Lake Geneva to Basel. During the coach tour we traveled towards the Swiss Alps crossing over the Jura Mountains to Lausanne on the shores of Lake Geneva. From there we travelled to the north of the Swiss Alps to Basel. Upon arrival in Basel, we boarded our second river ship, the ms Amalyra.
