Day 15: Toulouse to Carcassonne Thu Jul 21, 2016

We spent the morning on a walking tour of Toulouse that provided us with the opportunity to explore the old city, nicknamed ‘La Ville Rose’ (the Pink City) for its unique buildings made of pink terracotta bricks. Following the tour we boarded the coach for our journey to Carcassonne. This magical city is famous for its impressive medieval fortifications, drawbridges and array of imposing towers. Following the guided tour, we enjoyed a Farewell Dinner for this section of the trip.
