Day 13: Cap Ferret and Back Tue Jul 19, 2016

We travelled out and back from Bordeaux to the seaside township of Arcachon. From here, a boat took us to the stylish port town of Cap Ferret. Lapped by the waters of the Atlantic and fringed by golden beaches, life here had an enticingly laid-back pace. We enjoyed views of Europe’s highest sand dune, Dune du Pilat, as we ate lunch before heading back to Bordeaux.
