Day 8: Bayeux to Dinard Thu Jul 14, 2016

After breakfast we visited the incredible 70 metre-long Bayeux Tapestry constructed in the 11th century to celebrate the conquest of England by William, Duke of Normandy also known as William the Conqueror. We then headed out to explore the D-Day landing beaches along the Normandy coast. After a visit the US cemetery of Colleville/Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, which overlooks Omaha Beach, we continue onwards to our hotel in Dinard.
