Canada & Alaska - 2014

Day 14: Sun Peaks — Whistler Tue Jul 01, 2014

We left Sun Peaks and travelled via the rural towns of Cache Creek and Lillooet. Today was a national holiday celebrating Canada Day and the town of Lillooet was having a community picnic. After lunch we stopped at Seton and Duffey lakes for a couple of additional scenic views. Towards the end of the day we re-entered the Coast Mountains on the way to the alpine resort of Whistler. This evening, after dinner at the Westin Resort and Spa, we walked tothe centre of the alpine town of Whistler to enjoy the Canada Day fireworks.
