Day 7: Kamloops — Banff Tue Jun 24, 2014

On the train again continuing east towards the Canadian Rockies. We journeyed past Shuswap Lake and along the South Thompson River. We visited the engineering marvel of the Spiral Tunnels and traversed Kicking Horse Pass, which took us across the Continental Divide of the Americas and into the province of Alberta. On arrival in Banff National Park, we headed for the magnificent 'Castle in the Rockies' - The Fairmont Banff Springs.
