Canada & Alaska - 2014

Day 6: Vancouver — Kamloops Mon Jun 23, 2014

We boarded the famous “Rocky Mountaineer” early in the morning for the two day trek to Banff and relaxed in the comfort of our GoldLeaf carriage. We set out into the Coastal Mountains aboard one of the few passenger trains that covers this historic and awe-inspiring route. Todays section took in Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep rocky slopes as we followed the Thompson River to the overnight stop at Kamloops.
